What are the minimum browser requirements?

The Annual Meeting Online site has been tested using IE 7, Mozilla Firefox 3.6.13, Google Chrome 8.0.552.237 and Safari 5.0. Most features on the site require that javaScript be enabled.. If you are using a browser not listed here please share your experience with us using the "Technical Support" link at the bottom of the page and help us to improve your experience.

I registered for the Annual Meeting. How can I access the TRB Annual Meeting Online?

Just create an account using the same email address you used when registering for the Annual Meeting and you will be given full access to the compendium site. Questions? Contact TRB

Once you have created your account, you will log in using the site access login on the far right side of the website. Your email address is your username and your password is your confirmation number. You may edit your password once you have logged in. Questions? Contact TRB at TRBAMOnline@nas.edu.

What is included in the entire collection of TRB Annual Meeting Online?

Available starting January:

Technical Papers being presented at the Annual Meeting:  Papers submitted to TRB for peer review and presentation at the Annual Meeting.

Available starting in late-February:

In addition to the technical papers, the following will also be available:

Visual Aids Presentations:  PowerPoint presentations and poster displays from the Annual Meeting (view only).

Video Sessions:  Video recordings of sessions that include the PowerPoint presentation (view only).

(There will be free viewing and downloads for registered attendees and employees of TRB sponsors; for others, there will be a modest fee to access the information)

I don’t know if I am an employee of a TRB Sponsor.  Where can I find a list?

The TRB Sponsors list is available here: Am I eligible for free or discounted access? If so you will need to be logged into your eligible account before adding items to your shopping cart to receive the appropriate discount.

What are Practice-ready papers?

Each year standing committees in the Technical Activities Division identify peer-reviewed papers that could be of potential interest to practitioners as practice-ready. Practice-ready papers are defined as those in which the research results presented and discussed make a contribution to the solution of current or future problems or issues for practitioners. Information presented in these papers is ready for immediate implementation or requires minimal additional research or implementation effort.

How do I add items into my shopping cart?

Once you locate and select the item desired, options at the bottom of the left column will appear in white text.  Click the white text options to add them into your shopping cart. (Available in February 2012.)
